The 1993 Jaguar XJS 4.0 litre, six-cylinder convertible, face lift, is a very rare car. Diamond blue with Magnolia interior and a dark blue soft-top and matching tonneau. With low kms, 73k miles, this car was sold new in the UK, all services done at Jaguar Coventry, Browns Lane, while with with the first owner. Imported later in 2002 (privately) to Australia by the second owner (all paperwork available). This XJS convertible drives superbly (silky smooth), and pulls fantastically. It has an automatic gearbox with the sport button if desired too. More fuel efficient than the V12 and less costly for maintenance. It takes 10 minutes to change the spark plugs on this car, it takes 2hrs on a V12. With beautiful lines the XJS convertible is a treat to drive – automatic, power steering, electric windows, electric soft top, ice cold Air-con, all electrics work. The body work is great shape, a few small dents around the car. The bright work is great all around too. Very rare lattice wheels 15" in amazing condition. A few things could be addressed, such as a small leak of power steering fluid from a hard line to the rack. On historic plates now, non transferable.
