Magazine articles and cover photos are judged by the committee for the Writer of the Year (WOTY) and Cover of the Year (COTY) Awards.
Writers of articles that are short listed for the Writer of the Year Award will be awarded ONE Point with the overall winner being awarded an additional point.
Members who submit suitable photos that meet the printing criteria and are featured on the Front Cover of the Magazine will be awarded ONE Point with the overall winner being awarded an additional point.
All members attending events organised by the JDCA’s Regional Registers, (currently the Illawarra & Southern Highlands Register and the Western Register), will accrue points towards the Clubman & Clubwoman Championship, and in the respective Regional Register’s own point score system.
No points are awarded for attendance at Committee meetings
Note: The AGM in November of each year is the last event in that year’s Club Point Score. Any event held after the AGM is counted in the following year’s Point Score.
Occasionally there are club organised events that are NOT part of any club point scores. These events are purely for the enjoyment of members who attend, however; no points of any type will be awarded.
