This rare 5 speed manual gear box, 4.2L fuel injected (after market) very desirable early series Mark 2 was fully rebuilt by Caulfield Jaguar in Melbourne about 20 years ago and still presents as new. Being one of four cars rebuilt to this similar high standard it has been carefully and sparingly used since by one owner. Recently Caulfield Jaguar have fully serviced the car which included the fitment of a new fuel tank.
When rebuilt, these very special cars featured an upgrade to 4.2L fuel injected specification, a 5-speed manual gearbox, power steering, air conditioning, chrome wire knock-on wheels, Coombs style competition rear wheel spats, electric front seats with headrests with hidden controls, leather interior, central locking & cruise control, electric front windows and upgraded brakes. CD stacker, radio remote controlled and rear de-mister.
Finished in British Racing Green with a beige interior and superb timberwork this Jaguar is in splendid condition.
