1949 Jaguar Mark V, 3 5L
This head turning, pale metallic blue car has had a great deal of work done over the last 5 years - too much to list here. It has had a complete engine rebuild with a replacement Z series block and steel con-rods (less than 1000 miles ago). The head has been overhauled a couple of years earlier with new valves and bronze valve guides, the radiator has been re-cored (quad-cored). It has a 5 speed Toyota Celica gearbox sympathetically fitted (at bottom engine rebuild) which allows for comfortable cruising at highway speeds. The original gearbox, in good working condition, is included.
Headlights have been upgraded with quartz halogen globes running off a solenoid switch.
Steering, suspension and brakes have been rebuilt. The car is fitted with Kumho radial tyres.
Woodwork has been all restored (largely re-veneered with new burl walnut) .
Interior trim is new (April 2014) in stunning pale blue leather/vinyl with dark blue piping, dark blue carpet and light grey headlining. Much work has been done to improve heat and sound insulation.
The body has had the small amount of known rust professionally repaired and the pale metallic blue paintwork is in good condition (a few stone chips etc). Chrome is not great but is acceptable.
The car is a not to Concours standard but is better than most Mark V's and perfectly suited to use as a head turning, go-anywhere tourer or club car. This is a nice car with an interesting history. Price $34,500. Contact Graham 02 4456 4862, firstname.lastname@example.org (7)
1994 Jaguar XJ40 S series Auto
The S series featured firmer suspension and more precise steering coming out of the Jaguar factory like this.
Paint is British Racing Green, upholstery beige leather, carpets red, all in very good condition. One minor blemish on the driver’s seat. Rego Number: JCC 535 (not transferable)
The 1993 & 1994 XJ40’s the end of the run prior to the release of the X300 in 1985. They were noteworthy for having very few if any defects that needed correcting. These models had come a long way from the electronic and brake issues that plagued the 1986-1990 3.6 litre cars.
The 3.2 litre engine is a de-stroked version of the re-engineered 4 litre engine fitted from 1990 onwards. It is my understanding that this engine in supercharged form was fitted to the Aston Martin DB7, obviously a very robust engine. It is worth noting that it is the most fuel efficient Jaguar I have ever owned (8 cars).

1986 JAGUAR XJ V12 SOVEREIGN.
These are becoming rarer and this is a well-cared for unit with low Ks and well serviced. I am a member of the Jaguar Drivers Club and have owned the car for 10 years, it has been very reliable in that time.
The car is in good condition, the timber and leather looks lovely. The car had been resprayed before I purchased it. The paint presents well (see photos)but is not Concours condition. There is no rust, it was treated with Endrust from new. Of course the mighty V12 is smooth and powerful, no smoke and uses no oil between changes, runs unleaded fuel and have never used E10 fuel. It has a full tool kit and comes with good service record and history of previous owners. This is one you can drive and enjoy the power and luxury just as it is. Rego plates come with the car JAG 326, (Jag series 3 Double Six). Registered to August 2014.Can supply pink slip if required. It has been great to have this car. I don't find enough time to drive it as I have finished another Jaguar project. Feel free to ring me and have a chat about the car if you're interested. Price $10,800 but I am willing to talk. phone Cliff 02 9679 1558, 0418 227787 or email email@example.com (7)

Modified 1947 Jaguar MK IV We have owned this Jaguar for around 15 years and she has always been garaged. Prior to our purchase the original motor was replaced with an 2.4L XK6 engine. Water ingress also during this time down the windows has caused rust in the bottom of the doors. This is the only rust on the vehicle and she is mechanically sound registered until May 2014 (G 214). You may have seen her at British Car Day Gingin in WA where she receives a lot of attention and admiration. She is a one off with major modifications undertaken by a coachbuilder in New Zealand in the 1960’s. An extract of the words from the owner’s son are below. The car is obviously a one off and wasn’t intended to look like any other car. We think the car was shipped to Australia in the late 70’s.Price: $38,000, Contact: Stephen de Pina, Mobile: 0419936083 (The car is at Two Rocks, Western Australia) (3)

1975 Jaguar Special
A unique Australian built historic racing car
A genuine D type has long been one of the most expensive and collectable Jaguars ever made. This special is the next best thing being a very usable and fun race car at a small fraction of the price of a D type.
The Jaguar Special is believed to be the only “Jaguar D type replica” in Australia (and possible the world) that can be entered in historic race events. It has a racing history since its construction in 1975 and a current CAMS historic log book that was issued in 1995.
It comes complete with its own purpose built fully enclosed trailer, has the original aluminium body with original fibreglass front and rear panels but is currently fitted with a recently made fibreglass lightweight body (to meet registration requirements).
Also included are a complete set of body moulds and the history of the car back to its construction in 1975. Although not a concourse vehicle, an inspection will reveal it to be a race car in immaculate condition. Since its purchase by me in 1998, the car has been maintained by Graeme Lord and Classic fabrication.
The car is currently on the NSW club plate registration scheme. It has an engineer’s certificate that allowed it to be road registered in 2011 – it could be fully road registered in NSW if required.
To purchase a genuine D type Jaguar to race is an option that only a few could consider. This immaculate race car is very much admired at every meeting it enters and the complete package can be yours for around 10% of the cost of a genuine D type - $250,000. For photos, more of its history, and any further information on this very unique, usable and collectable vehicle, please phone John on 0418 603 515. Offers will be considered as the vehicle is for genuine sale. (10)
Mk2 race car.
Blue in colour; it is a genuine 3.8litre mated to a manual gearbox with overdrive. I purchased the car in 1992 and, after undertaking some initial work to provide the basics of a race car, it was log booked as a Group N (Appendix J) race car. It is currently on (non-transferable) Club plates and it has always been driven to race meetings, raced and then driven home.
The car has been restored to “immaculate race car condition” and had very little use since completion. The restoration included a bare metal respray, refurbished timber, new carpet, and chrome bumpers/overriders, headlining and reupholstered seats. The motor was rebuilt in late 2009, is raced tuned and the dyno report shows 276.4hp on 98PULP or can be run on Avgas. It is regularly driven on the road but has had very little racing since its rebuild; an extremely reliable and fun car that can be driven anywhere and competitively raced.
The car was built by and totally maintained by Graeme Lord. There is a large file of paperwork and receipts for everything done to the car. It also comes with the original registration paper from 1963. The car was imported from England by the previous owner in the 1980’s. The first thing I did on purchase was to replace the entire floor pan with a new one. Please do yourself a favour and come and inspect/test drive the car. Replacement cost estimated at $120,000. It was advertised for $58,000 being less than half replacement cost. The car must be sold so price reduced another $10K to $48,000 and will still consider all offers. For further information phone John on 0418 603 515; or for a full run down on the car, ring Graeme on (02) 4283 6076..
