1971 Jaguar E Type Series 3 (Manual 4 speed – LHD) VIN : 1S72432 This car really is as good as it looks. I am the second owner since 1973 and I have the original Bill of Sale. The car has been garaged and maintained meticulously throughout its life and benefits from having done a nominal 55,000 miles. Whilst the car has been structurally sound, I have done a few mechanical improvements including completely re-doing the front end to tighten up the steering and re-building and balancing the Carbies. The engine is strong with 80lb of pressure and is completely original with the exception of the air filters. Cosmetically, I have replaced the headliner, sunvisor covers. 4K has been spent in the last 3 months. The paintwork and brightwork are excellent. The interior is lovely as can be seen and all dials work. even the clock. This is a matching numbers car. The car is housed in Geelong but can be viewed in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and is driven regularly between the 2 sites. As I have an opportunity to acquire a roadster, something has to give. Please feel free to contact me with any questions : Asking $46,000 Will Phillips ( 03 98903434 / 0421 526336) (4)

Modified 1947 Jaguar MK IV We have owned this Jaguar for around 15 years and she has always been garaged. Prior to our purchase the original motor was replaced with an 2.4L XK6 engine. Water ingress also during this time down the windows has caused rust in the bottom of the doors. This is the only rust on the vehicle and she is mechanically sound registered until May 2014 (G 214). You may have seen her at British Car Day Gingin in WA where she receives a lot of attention and admiration. She is a one off with major modifications undertaken by a coachbuilder in New Zealand in the 1960’s. An extract of the words from the owner’s son are below. The car is obviously a one off and wasn’t intended to look like any other car. We think the car was shipped to Australia in the late 70’s. 3 Speed Automatic Multi Point Fuel Injection The mechanicals are in exceptional condition with the engine running smoothly with good oil pressure. The transmission, differential and brakes are good.. The heating and heated rear window works well, as do the wipers and the gauges read correctly, Both fuel tanks are in good operating condition and gauges are operating as they were intended to. Both fuel tanks are in good operating condition. The Bad: The power steering is slightly noisy on full lock and the power aerial has ceased operating. The car does drive very well on the road and I wouldn't hesitate driving it around Australia.

Three Unfinished Projects
There are three vehicles in various states of restoration, plus three sheds worth of numerous spare parts that will go with the vehicles. All are unregistered, and are sold as is, inspection is welcomed. Everything is housed at Sheldon, near Capalaba near Brisbane.
Apart from all the bits a pieces associated with the three cars listed below there are many other parts that were collected by my father including some MK 11, and XJ6 items.
1940 SS Saloon
This vehicle has been in our family since circa 1972, was previously owned by a kangaroo shooter from outback South Australia, where the car was delivered. It has been confirmed by Jaguar Heritage that there were only 135 cars 1940 2 1/2 litre models made and they know of 7 apart from this car.
The car has had the body professionally repaired and painted in the original olive green. It has had the trim re-chromed, and the timber re-veneered where required. The motor is disassembled, the gearbox is in one piece, not sure of it¹s condition, same with the differential. As far as I know it is all there, but it is spread across a 6 car garage.
The body has been professionally repaired and painted. The hood bows appear to be all there, the motor is possibly rebuilt. Interior is basically missing, has dash and seats.
This vehicle is in a dire state, it was found in the bush about 20 years ago. It is very rusty, only the alloy body is in good condition. It has the original motor and gearbox, confirmed by Jaguar, and has "special" Australian made finned wheels. The car is 99% complete. The chassis has been restored, not the original, it was very rusty, it is now as new. All the major and most minor steel components are there, just very rusty, so can be used as patterns. Door and bonnet hinges in excellent condition. Seat frames are there, patterns only. No timber exists with the car, all rotted away. The alloy body panels, all there, are in excellent condition for age, some minor repairs will be needed but that¹s all. The mechanical components are all there, very little use from new, so should be in good repair. Windscreen side posts, and chrome pieces are in good condition, and will be able to be reused. The dash is complete, but in need of restoration. No ID plate exists for the car. Summary of the XK120’s Components ; -
Firewall rebuilt; while the Inner front guards, fuel tank, spare wheel well, battery carriers and rear inner guards all rusted but 95% there, ideal for patterns. All suspension components and steering column all there, in usable condition. Generator, starter and gauges all need restoration. The radiator is in good condition. Aluminium body all in very good original condition, will need small repairs to boot lid Hood bows are rusty, but good for patterns, includes mounting brackets Screen pillars and grille are in good condition. All organic materials are gone.
I hope to sell all the cars as a job lot. All are unregistered, and are sold as is, everything would be included in the sale, however I would consider breaking up the lots if the right offer is received. Please contact Jeff Rowse e-mail

1975 Jaguar Special
A unique Australian built historic racing car
A genuine D type has long been one of the most expensive and collectable Jaguars ever made. This special is the next best thing being a very usable and fun race car at a small fraction of the price of a D type.
The Jaguar Special is believed to be the only “Jaguar D type replica” in Australia (and possible the world) that can be entered in historic race events. It has a racing history since its construction in 1975 and a current CAMS historic log book that was issued in 1995.
It comes complete with its own purpose built fully enclosed trailer, has the original aluminium body with original fibreglass front and rear panels but is currently fitted with a recently made fibreglass lightweight body (to meet registration requirements).
Also included are a complete set of body moulds and the history of the car back to its construction in 1975. Although not a concourse vehicle, an inspection will reveal it to be a race car in immaculate condition. Since its purchase by me in 1998, the car has been maintained by Graeme Lord and Classic fabrication.
The car is currently on the NSW club plate registration scheme. It has an engineer’s certificate that allowed it to be road registered in 2011 – it could be fully road registered in NSW if required.
To purchase a genuine D type Jaguar to race is an option that only a few could consider. This immaculate race car is very much admired at every meeting it enters and the complete package can be yours for around 10% of the cost of a genuine D type - $250,000. For photos, more of its history, and any further information on this very unique, usable and collectable vehicle, please phone John on 0418 603 515. Offers will be considered as the vehicle is for genuine sale. (10)

Mk2 race car.
Blue in colour; it is a genuine 3.8litre mated to a manual gearbox with overdrive. I purchased the car in 1992 and, after undertaking some initial work to provide the basics of a race car, it was log booked as a Group N (Appendix J) race car. It is currently on (non-transferable) Club plates and it has always been driven to race meetings, raced and then driven home.
The car has been restored to “immaculate race car condition” and had very little use since completion. The restoration included a bare metal respray, refurbished timber, new carpet, and chrome bumpers/overriders, headlining and reupholstered seats. The motor was rebuilt in late 2009, is raced tuned and the dyno report shows 276.4hp on 98PULP or can be run on Avgas. It is regularly driven on the road but has had very little racing since its rebuild; an extremely reliable and fun car that can be driven anywhere and competitively raced.
The car was built by and totally maintained by Graeme Lord. There is a large file of paperwork and receipts for everything done to the car. It also comes with the original registration paper from 1963. The car was imported from England by the previous owner in the 1980’s. The first thing I did on purchase was to replace the entire floor pan with a new one. Please do yourself a favour and come and inspect/test drive the car. Replacement cost estimated at $120,000. It was advertised for $58,000 being less than half replacement cost. The car must be sold so price reduced another $10K to $48,000 and will still consider all offers. For further information phone John on 0418 603 515; or for a full run down on the car, ring Graeme on (02) 4283 6076.. (10)
